City of Springboro closing City offices to the public beginning Tuesday, March 24, 2020

 In accordance with Gov. DeWine’s Stay at Home order to minimize the community spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), the City of Springboro Offices will be closed to the public until further notice. The Springboro Police Department and Clearcreek Fire District along with City services including water and sewer operations and trash collection will operate as usual. Residents may conduct City business online at www.ci.springboro.oh.us or call City Offices, 937-748-4343. In case of emergency, call 9-1-1.

Gov. DeWine’s order goes into effect at 11:59 p.m. Monday, March 23, 2020 and will remain in effect until 11:59 p.m. on April 6, 2020, unless the order is rescinded or modified.

Closures

As of Tuesday, March 24, 2020 the following City buildings are closed to the public until further notice:

  • City Building including the Tax, Building Inspection, Water and Sewer and Development offices. Payment and services may be done online at www.ci.springboro.oh.us. Service will continue as usual. Court will be in session every Wednesday.
  • Playgrounds operated by the City, per the governor’s directive. Please continue to enjoy the parks and trails.
  • Service Garage

Tax Returns

The Tax Office is closed to the public until further notice. Drop off tax returns and payments in the drop boxes in the City Building parking lot, 320 W. Central Ave. near the library, or in the front lobby of the City Building. Call the Tax Office, 937-748-9701, for assistance and leave a message. The tax filing deadline will be delayed beyond the April 30 due date. We’ll keep you posted on the new filing date.  File your taxes online here.

Court

Court will be in session every Wednesday, however, the office will have restricted hours to accept payments. Make online payments here. Call 937-748-4366 for hours and payment options.
