The City of Springboro presents three free family movies this winter at the Springboro Performing Arts Center, 115 Wright Station Way. Showtimes are noon and 2 p.m.
"The Wild Robot" will be shown on Saturday, Feb. 21, and tells the story of Roz, a robot shipwrecked on an abandoned island who forges relationships with the local wildlife.
“Smurfs” is scheduled for Saturday, March 14. When Papa Smurf is taken by evil wizards Ramamel and Gargamel, Smurfette leads the Smurfs on a mission to the real world to save him.
Check back for the new date for “Minecraft” which was cancelled due the the Jan. 24 winter storm. The story follows four misfits who suddenly transport to the Overworld—an enchanting yet dangerous dimension. They navigate perilous and often hilarious challenges while discovering themselves and searching for home. .Concessions are available. Admission is free and no tickets are needed.
