The sewer reduction program allows for a reduction of sewer charges to residents for additional water consumption caused by summer watering of lawns, landscaping, filling pools. This program now begins in mid-May and continues to mid-September. During this time period, a reduction in residents' sewer charges will be made based on the customer's average water consumption over a 3-month winter period and will be reflected on the October bill to the customer.
