Sewer Reduction Program
The Sewer Reduction Program discounts water consumption that is not discharged into the sanitary sewer system. Sewer charges are normally based on total water consumption. The sewer reduction program allows for a reduction of sewer charges to residents for additional water consumption caused by summer watering of lawns, landscaping, filling pools. This program now begins in mid-May and continues to mid-September. During this time period, a reduction in residents' sewer charges will be made based on the customer's average water consumption over a 3-month winter period and will be reflected on the October bill to the customer.
