Students on Free/Reduced Lunch or part of the “Boro Backpack Program” with Springboro Schools will be able to receive food while the district is closed, due to the State of Ohio’s mandate. Springboro Schools will be in contact with these families, regarding details on food pickup and/or distribution.

Beginning Monday, March 16, the following schedule will be in place, as supplies are available tentatively through April 3, for students and their families on Free/Reduced Lunch with Springboro Schools:

**DUE TO SUPPLY, FAMILIES ARE ONLY PERMITTED TO PICKUP FOOD ONE DAY PER WEEK**

Mondays (3:00 - 5:00pm)

Springboro Community Assistance Center (SCAC)

1629 S. Main St. Springboro, OH 45066

Perishable & Boxed Food Only

Wednesdays (5:00 - 6:00pm)

Springboro First United Methodist Church

60 E North St, Springboro, OH 45066

Non-Perishable Food Only

Fridays (6:00 - 7:00pm)

Springboro Eagles

125 E Central Ave, Springboro, OH 45066

Non-Perishable Food Only

The Springboro community is working together to ensure no students go hungry. The City of Springboro will be transporting the food to the sites each week.

Having the Springboro Schools close will create an extra burden on some families for food. The SCAC is available to help all families in need during this time. There are many families that have never used a food pantry before--and this can be uncomfortable at first. It’s safe to say that this is a first for almost all of us.
