[ARCHIVED] Police Department's "Operation Santa" is underway, application deadline is Nov. 15

Operation Santa 2018 (1)

The Springboro Police Department and Springboro community are again combining efforts to assist children in need through Operation Santa. Each year, between five and ten Springboro families are selected to receive assistance. Families must reside in the City of Springboro and have children under the age of 18.

The program started in 1998 by Springboro Police officers has grown into a community event.  In addition to their own contributions, the department receives financial donations along with toys and other gifts for the program. Gifts are wrapped and delivered to each family by Springboro Officers joined by Santa Claus.

To donate to the program, please contact Officer Aaron Nicley, 937-748-0611, or aaron.nicley@cityofspringboro.com.

To recommend a family for the program, download the application here:https://www.cityofspringboro.com/DocumentCenter/View/218/Operation-Santa-Application-for-Assistance-PDF?bidId= and return it to Officer Nicley aaron.nicley@cityofspringboro.com or mail to 320 West Central Avenue, Springboro, OH 45066.

Applications must be returned by November 15, 2019.
