[ARCHIVED] Drug Take Back Day, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25

National Drug Take Back 2023

Drop off expired, unwanted and unused pills and capsules during the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration National Prescription Drug Take Back Day, Saturday, Oct. 25at the Springboro Municipal Building, 320 W. Central Avenue. Springboro Police Sgt. Don Wilson will be onsite 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. to collect prescription and over-the-counter medications. Pills should be removed from containers and placed in a zipper-lock storage bag for disposal. Liquids, powders and needles are not accepted.

Following the event, representatives from the DEA will collect and safely dispose of the medications collected.

Throughout the year, the Springboro Police Department maintains a drug drop box, located in the lobby of the City Building. Residents may drop off medications 7 a.m. to midnight, seven days a week. For more information, contact Springboro Police, 748-0611.
