Contemplating Heaven and Earth

The Springboro Performing Arts Center showcases the works of Shawna Hatton and John Sousa in a collection of life-sized paintings “Contemplating Heaven and Earth” July 1 – 29 in the gallery. Hatton and Sousa are mixed-media artists who have individually explored themes of heaven and earth throughout their artistic careers. Hatton is an educator and owner of Chasing Light Art Studio and Gallery located in Historic Springboro. Sousa lives and has a studio in Springboro where he creates art with a long-term focus on language, photography, and how we perceive and infer meaning. 

An artist reception is scheduled for 6 - 8 p.m. Sunday, July 14 at the gallery, 115 Wright Station Way. Gallery hours are 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. Monday through Friday with some extended hours on evenings and weekends or by appointment by calling 937-748-5774.
