[ARCHIVED] Former IGA Plaza Redevelopment Preliminary Plan

Over the past 8-10 months, the City has been working with Synergy & Mills Development, VisCap and Paresi Design Studio to formulate a redevelopment plan for the 6.5 acres of the former IGA Plaza, located on the northwest corner of SR 73 & SR 741 in the heart of Springboro.  We are happy to report that the City now has a preliminary plan to unveil to the public!

The City will be hosting an informational and resident input meeting on Tuesday, March 6, from 7:00pm-8:00pm in the Community Room at the City Building, 320 West Central Avenue.  At this meeting, you will have the opportunity to see the preliminary plan with proposed building designs and layout, as well as provide your input as to the uses, types of businesses, etc., you wish to see developed at the property.  City officials, as well as representatives from Synergy and Paresi Design Studio will be on hand to answer any questions.  The meeting format will be an "open house" whereby you can browse the displays and then provide your input.

The City is also providing the opportunity to see the preliminary plan and provide input on the City website.  If you cannot attend the meeting, or simply prefer to view it online, you can click HERE to see the plan and answer a short eight (8) question survey to provide your input and thoughts about the plan.  The survey will remain on the City website until end of business on March 6.

The City plans to take the public input to further shape and modify the plan if necessary.  If you have any questions, please email us at askus@cityofspringboro.com.
