The formal dedication of the Springboro Veterans Memorial is scheduled for Saturday, November 11 at 11:00 a.m. The public is invited and we would love to see you there! The Memorial is located at Gardner Park, which is behind 5/3rd Bank on North Main Street.
We have a great event planned for the dedication, starting with Mayor Agenbroad opening the ceremony, presentation of the colors by the Military Order of the Purple Heart, Police Department, Clearcreek Fire District and ROTC Honor Guards, 21-gun salute, a talk by retired 3-star General Michael Zettler, who is a Springboro resident, and an invocation and benediction by local Pastors Terry Carlisle and Wayne Mock.
Light refreshments will be available at 10 a.m. with the formal program beginning at 11 a.m. See you there!
