Painting called Prairie Frenzy by Stolzenberger

The City of Springboro Performing Arts Center (PAC) Art Gallery's latest show has been extended through Dec. 12. The multi-media show features original works by seven artists working in a variety of mediums including large-scale painting, mixed media, pottery and fiber art. The show, located in the Springboro Performing Arts Center, 115 Wright Station Way, is free and open to the public. Work is available for purchase.

Artists include Charmaine Boggs, mixed media painting and collage, cyanotype; Lori Daugherty, encaustic painting; Lauren Gruber, functional pottery; Mikee Michelle Huber, oil-based mixed media, inks and foiling; Cathy Jeffers, textile; Julie Riley, acrylic painting and mixed media and Sharon Stolzenberger, watercolor and acrylic painting, mixed media and prints. In addition to a following in the Dayton area, many of the artists also have national art presence.

The exhibit may be viewed 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. In addition, the exhibit may be viewed in the evening and on weekends by calling 937-748-5774. All guests must follow COVID-19 restrictions including wearing masks and maintaining social distance. 

Exhibits change monthly. Owned and operated by the City of Springboro, the Springboro Performing Arts Center opened in September 2019. It is home to the Springboro Chamber of Commerce, Springboro Community Theatre and Center Stage Academy of the Arts. For more information or to submit an application for exhibit, call 937-748-5774.
