[ARCHIVED] Waste Management will make its final trash pickup on Tuesday, April 28

Rumpke trash truck

Leave your empty trash toters at the curb for Waste Management to pick up. It may take several days for Waste Management to collect, so please leave it at the curb. KEEP your recycling container, as this is provided by the City of Springboro.

City will continue recyclables, yard waste and bulk-item drop off until April 29

Due to COVID-19, Waste Management made the decision to pick up only those recyclable items placed in a container and also suspended yard waste and bulk-item pickups.

To ease the load for residents, the City of Springboro continues to provide a temporary drop-off site for yard waste, bulk-items and loose recyclables. Dumpsters are available in the City Building parking lot at 320 W. Central Avenue. This free service will continue until 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 29. The City’s new hauler, Rumpke, will begin trash hauling, recycling and yard waste services on Thursday, April 30.

This service is for Springboro residents only. Hours are 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. Monday – Saturday, closed Sunday. Please bring proof of residency. You must place all items in the dumpsters. The area is monitored.

We WILL NOT accept: electronics, construction materials, drywall, concrete, dirt, rocks, batteries, tires, liquids, combustible materials or any items identified as hazardous
