TAX SEASON 2025 Filing Information

City Tax filing deadline: April 30, 2026

The City of Springboro's filing deadline is April 30. Our relaxed filing deadline allows you to focus on getting your Federal return filed by the IRS'  April 15 due date. Remember, you’ll need to at least file a copy of the first page of your Federal Form 1040 with your completed City return; other Federal forms may also be required, depending on your sources of income. See our FAQ for more information.

Save Time. File with LIME.

Discover what 1,200 other Springboro taxpayers did last year: Filing your tax return with LIME (the City’s online system) is the fastest, most convenient way to get the job done. You can use LIME (Local Income-Tax Made Easy) from the comfort of your home to file your 2025 tax return and pay any balance due--typically in five minutes or less!

Most full-year residents are eligible to use LIME. To determine if LIME will work for you, see our FAQ’s for specific eligibility rules.
