Operation Santa

Each December, the Springboro Police Department and the community in general, combine efforts to assist needy children in the Springboro Community. What started as a very humble program of charity by the officers in 1998 has blossomed into a full scale community effort. Between 5 to 10 families are carefully selected every year to receive assistance with Christmas gifts for their children in their time of need.

Each year, the department receives donations, and hundreds of dollars of money and gifts are donated to the program. The gifts are then wrapped and delivered with cheer by the Officers and Santa.
