Warren County (Monday, July 3, 2023) – An intersection improvement project on state Route 741 in Springboro is under way, with daily lane restrictions in effect at the route's intersection with Remick Boulevard.
Under the sponsorship of the Warren County Transportation Improvement District (TID), contractors for the TID and the Ohio Department of Transportation will be constructing a right-turn lane on northbound S.R. 741 at Remick Boulevard, as well as installing a new signal and signal timing at the intersection.
Preliminary work began June 26, and operations will resume Wednesday, July 5. Continuing through the end of the month, the right lane of northbound S.R. 741 will be closed between W Lytle Five Points Road and Remick Boulevard during daytime, working hours.  The John R. Jurgensen Company was awarded a contract for approximately $835,633 to complete the project, and all work is scheduled to be completed in the fall of 2024.
