Parks & Recreation

The City of Springboro operates and maintains eight (8) recreational parks and over 400 acres of open space:

North Park

195 Tamarack Trail

North Park is located on Tamarack Trail and has 2 lighted tennis/pickleball courts, 3 soccer/LAX fields,1 shelter, 1 basketball court, 1 playground area, a concession stand, .89 mile walking trail and offers a summer concert series and theatre under the stars at the North Park Amphitheater.

Community Park

666 West Market Street

Located on Market Street, Community Park has 2 lighted tennis courts, 2 basketball courts, 2 baseball fields, 2 playground areas, 3 shelter houses, 1 concession stand and 2 equipment buildings. Total acreage of park: 18 acres


Clearcreek Park

3500 Lower Springboro Road

Located on Lower Springboro Road, Clearcreek Park offers 10 soccer fields, 8 baseball/softball diamonds, 2 football/soccer/LAX fields, 1 shelter, 2 playgrounds, 1.3 mile paved walking trail and a concession stand with shelter.

E. Milo Beck

Lower Springboro Road

Located on Lower Springboro Road at the terminus of Pioneer Blvd., E. Milo Beck is a passive park with an overlook area and walking trails.

Total acerage of park: 85 acres


Gardner Park

Village Park Boulevard

Located on Village Park Blvd., behind the Village Park Development on North Main Street, Gardner Park offers a .35 mile paved walking trail and pond.

Total acreage of park: 16 acres


Hazel Woods Park

Lower Springboro Road

Located southwest from Clearcreek Park is the City's newest park. The master plan for Hazel Woods Park calls for a dog park, 15 Soccer/LAX playing fields, playground, paved walking path, concession stand, restroom and picnic shelters. The park is scheduled to be developed in four annual phases, starting in Spring 2017.

Rotary Park

South Main Street

Located in the 300 block of South Main Street in the Historic District, Rotary Park offers nice landscaping, a gazebo and benches for sitting and enjoying the quaint downtown. Rotary Park was made possible through a collaboration between the City and the Rotary Club of Springboro.


Rotay Park also contains the City's newest concept - A SPARC and Go. SPARC stands for Springboro Area Recharging Center. Built as part of the City's Bike and Pedestrian Plan, the SPARC and Go acts as a rest station for bicylists as well as a recharging center during power outages or natural disasters.

North Park, Community Park, Clearcreek Park and Rotary Park (SPARC and Go) have portable or permanent restroom facilities.

Our park shelters are available for reservation by the day at no charge on a first-come, first-serve basis.  Please complete a park shelter reservation form which is included on this webpage and turn it in at the City building or fax it to 748-0815. A copy will be returned to you to confirm the reservation.  Park rules and regulations are available on the website or call the City Building at 748-4343 for more information.

Park Board

Meetings are held on the first Wednesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. to discuss park projects and activities. This Board serves as an advisory board to the Parks and Recreation Department on related issues. For more information call 748-4343.
