Pursuant to the City Charter, the City is divided into four (4) wards established by City Council to provide for the election of a Council Member to represent the residents of each ward. The City shall be divided into four wards based upon precinct lines as determined by the County Board of Elections. Ward re-division is enacted by City Council when necessary to achieve substantially equal population in each ward. Within one (1) year following receipt of each Federal decennial census information, or at any other time when necessary to achieve substantially equal population in each ward, the Council will redivide the City into four (4) wards of substantially equal population.
Ward 1 is the area east of SR 741 and north of Lytle Five Points Road including the Greenleaf Subdivision.
Ward 2 is the area east of SR 741 and south of Lytle Five Points Road.
Ward 3 is the area west of SR 741 and south of SR 73 including the area north of SR 73 and west of Clearcreek Franklin Road and also a small portion of the Springbrook and Tamarack Subdivisions.
Ward 4 is the area west of SR 741, north of SR 73, and east of Clearcreek Franklin Road.
